"Headwaters has been performing almost every Friday night of our peak season (end of June to Labor Day) for the past 8 seasons. In eight years, I have never tired of hearing them and I am amazed at the energy they put into every show. They capture everything that is magical about Redfish Lake. Guests just have a great time when Headwaters is playing - adults and kids alike are dancing on the grass and just having a memorable, great time. Some of my most treasured memories of managing the resort are those wonderful Friday evenings when Headwaters is playing and folks are relaxed on the front lawn taking it all in. Not only are they incredible musicians, they are great guys to work with. I keep thinking I am going to lose them to a major recording label. If you are looking for a top tier Idaho bluegrass band at an affordable price, I can't imagine anyone doing it better than Headwaters."
Jeff Clegg, Mgr. Redfish Lake Lodge (Dec 20, 2007)
“After nearly 35 years of booking acts for clubs, I cannot help but be impressed with Headwaters, both musically and professionally. This is music equally at home on nights when the dance floor is full of the local stompers, or when a quiet crowd prefers to sit, listen and enjoy. There will always be an open date on the calendar at the Stanley Kasino Club."
John Graham, Owner Kasino Club Stanley, ID (Dec 24, 2007)
“Headwaters has become our favorite, and for the last eight years, our only provider of music for the Sawtooth Mountain Mamas Arts & Crafts Fair the third weekend of every July. The Fair draws thousands of visitors to Stanley, Idaho and those visitors, the vendors, and our local help
enthusiastically approve Headwaters' music.”
Nancy Williams, Mt. Mama's Arts and Craft Fair Director (Jan 17, 2008)
The Challis Arts Council enthusiastically endorses the Headwaters band. We've hired them a few times and they are reliable, fair and hearty. They are all first rate musicians who can please a crowd - for hours at a time. The Headwaters Band is always a good bet if you're looking for a professional and lively concert!
Anna Means, Treasurer, Challis Arts Council (Mar 2, 2008)
What a great Band! You were once again fantastic at the Soiree and everyone enjoyed hearing you. Thanks for another great night. You’re a talented bunch of musicians.
Karen Keiski, Event Coordinator, Sawtooth Society Sagebrush Soiree (Aug 8, 2008)
"You guys have an open invitation to play at the Bigwood Folk Music Festival from now on!"
Michael White, Director, Bigwood Folk Music Festival (Jun 20, 2009)
